Barefoot Sandals
These are a cross between an anklet and a handflower, and are very popular for summer weddings and beach gatherings. These can even be worn over a plain sandal for a cooler look. I use a thin hair elastic instead of a chain to go around the toe, and I try to match the color to the design if I can. Not only do I think the elastic is more comfortable, but if it ever breaks or wears out, it's not like it will be hard to fix. To allow for different sizes of feet - I wear a size 11 - I ship these with two sizes of elastics.
Because these are made from aluminum they can be washed with regular soap and water right in your sink, so go barefoot and splash in mud puddles all you want!
