1. Care to tell us a bit about yourself?
*Waves* Hiya! Uuum.. ok. I think my sig really sums me up. I think I’m a lot like a parrot.. I talk nonsense and I preen a lot.
lol… I’m a self taught wanna-be seamstress, with a flair for the strange and macabre… even though I get called cute a lot. ?

2.What media/materials do you work in? Do you have a favorite?
Sewing/ anything that can be sewn or sewn on to something…. Button, lace, leather. If I can find a way to sew it on to something, chances are I’ll use it somewhere… Oh, I’m a sucker for good silk dupioni… but really, can’t say that I have a *favorite*.

3. Can you tell us a bit about what inspires you or about your creative process?
*lol* What, you wanna know what goes on in *my* head?
it doesn’t take much to inspire me, to tell the truth… It all about finding the magic in the mundane (Kinda like life!) Maybe I’ll see a sleeve or the way a front buttons up on something, and say, hey, that would work really well for *insert my mad idea here*. Like, that top for my Queen of Hearts. The pattern for that was a very safe looking business dress. So, for me, it all about seeing what can be, not what it was made to be..

4. Do you sell your art? If so, where can we get it?
Yeap… when I have something to sell, odds are it’ll end up on my Etsy shop (which is sadly very bare right now.) Or you can contact me here, I’m open for custom commissions, unless otherwise stated.

5. I know it’s hard to choose, but can you show us your three favorite pieces?
Ah, the dreaded pick one question! lol
Alright… My three fav (at the time of this questionnaire) would have to be:

6. Do you have any “plans” for your art? New techniques or materials you’d like to try, things you want to work on, etc.?
Well… I have this mad plan involving lots of bones, a coat, and attaching bones to said coat.. Where I succeed or fail, I’m sure my sister will end up wearing the results.
I want to try some more distressing, and bring a less “neat” look to my work (a phase I’m going though?) and mix that with the Victorian era style.. I have so many things planned out, finding the time to do them is murder though!

7. Anything else for all the people out in Internet Land?
First time, do it as the book/pattern/rules say… then, once you got it.. disregard them and see what happens!
You can follow the rules in any craft to a tee all day… but until you really get out and try new things, bend the rules and know your strengths and weaknesses, you’ll only be as good as the books you’ve read.
